Abstract :
Organic conductor (DMe-DCNQI)2Cu placed under pressure exhibits reentrant Metal-Nonmetal transition (As the temperature is lowered, the sample changes from a metal to an insulator and then returns to a metal again), we have studied the resistivity and the electron spin resonance [ESR] on the sample under uniaxial (along C-axis) stresses. It was confirmed that the uniaxial stress can give rise to the reentrant metal-nonmetal transition. The enhancement of the magnetic susceptibility in the insulating phase was observed.
