Abstract :
Polymer-TCNQ(tetracyanoquinodimethane) charge transfer complexes were synthesized using organic polycations as electron donor. These materials are soluble in organic solvents and spin coatable. The materials are spin coated on polycarbonate substrate with aluminium reflecting layer, and their optical memory effects ate tested at 830nm. With the recording power of 8mW and recording speed of 1.2m/s, the maximum CNR (carrier to noise ratio) of 40dB was observed.
