Abstract :
Liquid Crystal-Polymer Composite(LCPC) materials of low saturation voltage and high contrast ratio have been developed by using halogenated liquid crystals and photo-reactive acryl resin system. The other reliabilities such as hysteresis, temperature dependence and UV-stability of its electro-optical properties have been improved by optimising LCPC structure and synthetic conditions. Active-matrix addressed LCPC materials having such a good electro-optical properties will promise higher brightness and larger screen size for projection display.
