Abstract :
A novel method is described for the retention of polyaniline onto ordinary glass surfaces. Polyaniline films thus obtained have a uniform texture and good quality. The conductivity (measured in terms of sheet resistance) of the films depends on the concentration ratio between aniline and the oxidant used in the preparation of the polymer. Supporting experiments suggest that the interaction between the polymer and the glass plate is most likely of covalent nature.
