Abstract :
Photothermal Deflection Spectroscopy (PDS) is briefly described. We report on the absorption coefficient of methyl-substituted poly(para-phenylene)-type ladder polymer and the hyperlinear luminescence of m-LPPP. With these qualities we estimate a laser effect of m-LPPP. A combined curve from PDS and UV-VIS is shown and the resolution compared with a standard UV-VIS measurement.
