Abstract :
Electron spin susceptibility and ESR linewidth measurements were performed to study the electronic state in an unstretched film of Poly(paraphenylene vinylene). Pauli-like susceptibility is observed above 50 K and Curie-like one below 50 K. Spin carrier diffusion rates are estimated and found to be remarkably anisotropic. The present observations are consistently understood provided that the charged carriers are in localized states because of disorder.
