Dopant complexes and their effect on optical and contact processes

We consider bound states of bipolarons with monovalent dopants, their transformation under illumination and by charge injection. These complexes provide effective traps for the minority carriers. On this basis we describe the photoluminescence quenching in LED, the stationary characteristics and hysteresis at the Schottky contacts.
