Abstract
The low frequency Raman spectra of κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br have been studied in the temperature range 1.8–125 K and effects associated with the opening of the superconducting gap have been identified. They indicate an upper limit of ca. 28 cm−1 for the superconducting gap and appear to be more consistent with an s-wave than with a d-wave structure of the gap.
