Abstract :
o, m, p-Phenylenediamines (PDA) were polymerized using hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizing agent in reversed micellar systems consisting of an anionic surfactant and water in organic solvents. The magnetic properties of the obtained polymers have been studied with a SQUID. The M (magnetization)-H(magnetic field) curves showed sigmoid behavior and they were different for polymers from isomeric PDAʹs. The saturation magnetization of the product prepared from m-PDA was higher than those of o-PDA and p-PDA.
