Abstract :
The first dimeric highly conjugated p-quinodimethane analogues of tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) based on two anthraquinodimethane units linked by an oxygen spacer are reported. The cyclic voltammetry reveals that they behave as two independent units with only one oxidation wave involving four electrons.
