Abstract :
We have performed conductivity measurements in the spin-density-wave (SDW) phase of (TMTSF)2ClO4 to investigate the sliding mechanism of SDW. From the temperature dependence of threshold electric field ET for a depinning of SDW, we found a change of pinning mechanism from the weak-pinning to the strong-pinning with decreasing the quenching rate of sample. At the low temperature, we also observed a significant increase of conductivity at much higher electric field. The behavior of I-V curves is independent of temperature and approximately described by Zener-like formula. This phenomenon suggests a new type of transport of SDW.
