Novel triad luminescent compound with an electron transporting and a hole transporting moiety

In order to simplify the fabrication process of electroluminescence (EL) devices and eliminate interface exciton quenching between the layers of the device, novel triad compounds and dyad compounds were synthesized in which both electron and hole transporting moieties were connected directly with the emitter via covalent bonds. The luminescent properties of these triad and dyad compounds in solid film have been investigated.
