Abstract :
Four-component composites, PANI(dopant)0.5/disperser/polyolefin (PANI = polyaniline), have been prepared via extrusion. The observed percolation threshold for conductivity depends strongly on the selection of an appropriate dopant/disperser couple. The lowest percolation threshold, below 3 wt.% of PANI(dopant)0.5, has been obtained for the PANI(BEHP)0.5/LG/LDPE system, where BEHP = bis(2-ethylhexyl hydrogen phosphate), LG = lauryl gallate and LDPE = low density polyethylene.
