Abstract :
The cyclodextrin fragment was persubstituted with pendant redox-active tetrathiafulvalene moieties. These molecular assemblies allow an efficient access to Langmuir-Blodgett films of tetrathiafulvalene derivatives, independently of their hydrophobic character.
