Abstract :
The realization of electroluminescent diodes that can emit blue, blue-red and white light results in poly(N-vinyl halogenocarbazole) (PNVHK) polymers being even more applicable and easy when used as active media in polymer light-emitting devices. Electroluminescent devices were fabricated using PNVHK as a hole-transporting emitter layer. In the diodeʹs structure consisting of glass substrate/indium-tinoxide (ITO)/PNVHK/Ca/Al, the carriers were injected from ITO (anode) and Ca (cathode) electrodes to the PNVHK layer using a turnon voltage of 8 V for light emission.
