Abstract :
The monomeric precursor 2,5-dibenzylidene(1,3,4,6-tetrathiapentalene) (2) can be polymerized to a fully conjugated polymer derivative 3. Potentiodynamic and potentiostatic electropolymerization of monomer 2 are described. The characterisation of 3 by ESR, FT-IR and conductivity measurements is discussed.
