Abstract
A method to obtain optical absorption spectra of thin conductive films on electrodes is proposed. It consists in recording of photothermal deflection spectroscopy (PDS) signal at two different potentials and then processing the spectra as differential. The method is used in the visiblenear infrared range to study the electrochromism of anodic indium oxide and polyaniline films.
