Abstract
The aim of this work was to deal with the reductive chemical synthesis of soluble poly(N-alkylcarbazole) (PCZ) derivatives. The polymers obtained were fractionned by successive solubilization in order to increase the molecular mass and to decrease the polymolecularity. Furthermore fractionned polymers present a good electrochemical reversibility and cyclability. Charge transfer complex (CTC) were formed between poly(N-butylcarbazole) PbuCz or 9,9′ diethyl 3,3′ dicarbazyl DEC and organic electron acceptors such as TCNE, TNF were characterized by optical spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry.
