Abstract :
Solubility and processability of polyaniline can be enhanced by incorporation of flexible chains. Modified anilines like N and o-alkylanilines were synthesised and polymerised using a chemical biphasic process. Various homopolymers N and o-alkylanilines were found to be soluble in tetrahydrofuran, consequently easy to characterize.
