Structural influences on luminescence properties of substituted ppvs and model compounds

We present poly (p-phenylene vinylene) derivatives and short-chain analogues. The influences of side chains in different positions on the luminescenence properties were investigated. Single crystal X-ray analyses and electrochemical data of short-chain model compounds are presented.
