Abstract
Photorewritable conducting polyaniline image was successfully obtained by the photopolymerization of aniline derivatives for Flemion composite film containing Ru(bpy)32+ and TiO2. The image can be erased and regenerated by consecutive photoreduction and photooxidation via photoinduced electron transfer with TiO2 and Ru(bpy)32+ in the composite film. These photoinduced reactions were considerably affected by the deaeration condition for the reaction solution. When photooxidation and photoreduction were carried out in the reaction solution deaerated O2 or N2 respectively, good reversibility for photoredox reaction was obtained on the present system.
