Abstract :
Multilayered heterostructures of conducting polymers have been prepared by self-assembly method and their properties have been studied. Characteristic photoluminescence quenching was observed in the multilayered structure and photoconduction was observed to be enhanced. These phenomena is discussed on the basis of photoinduced charge transfer at heterostructure interfaces. Unique doping effects of porphyrin derivatives are also studied.
