Abstract :
The percolation threshold concentration of the donor-acceptor conducting polymer composite can be experimentally determined by characterizing the field-effect transistors with the composite as a channel layer. In this study, poly(3-alkylthiophene)s doped with an electron transporting dye are used as an example of donor-acceptor composites. The dye concentration dependence of the mobilities are clarified and discussed in terms of the percolation model.
