Abstract :
Pseudo Phenyl-Polyphenylene vinylene (PhPPV) sequences have been synthesised by dehydrogenation of quasi alternated 1,3 cyclohexadiene (CHD) — styrene (St) copolymers prepared by anionic copolymerisation initiated by sec butyllithium in cyclohexane. This method allows the preparation of block copolymers including phenyl PPV sequences.
