The first calibrated covalent conducting gel

In this paper we report the synthesis and the characterization of the monomers required for the preparation of different kinds of calibrated covalent conducting gels. These gels consist of well defined and regioregular oligooctylthiophenes connected by tri-meta-substituted benzene. The preparation of the first gel is also reported as well as the first characterizations.
