Abstract :
Electron donors 4,5-(1,4-dioxanediyl-2,3-dithio)-4′,5′-ethylenedithiotetrathiafulvalene (DOET) and 4,5;4′,5′-bis (1,4-dioxanediyl-2,3-dithio) tetrathiafulvalene (BDDT) have been synthesized and their molecular and crystal structures have been solved. DOET and BDDT were shown to have bath conformations. Radical cation salts based on these donors have been prepared. The structure of the organic metal (DOET)2HSO4 has been determined.
