Abstract :
The synthesis, electrochemical and mesomorphic properties of 4,5-ethylenedithio-4′-[2-(perfluorohexyl)ethoxycarbonyl] tetrathiafulvalene are reported. This compound is the first semifluorinated mesogenic tetrathiafulvalene derivative.
