Abstract :
The bosonization technique is applied to the electron-phonon extended Hubbard model in order to describe 2kF and 4kF lattice correlations in the normal phase of strongly correlated organic conductors. From the derivation of an effective low-energy field theory for the lattice degrees of freedom, the temperature dependence of both types of lattice correlations is calculated and compared to 4kF x-ray diffuse scattering results for TTP-TCNQ.
