Abstract
We have performed measurements of the interplane magnetoresistance of α-(BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4 in pulsed magnetic fields of up to 60 T and temperatures up to 13 K. Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) oscillations are observed well above the Néel temperature of tn ~ 8 K which indicates the destruction of antiferromagnetic ordering. This enables the study of a sector of the phase diagram which has thus far not been accessible to fermiological techniques.
