Abstract :
We present the studies of the polarized reflectance spectra (650 cm−1 to 40000 cm−1) of three isostructural charge-transfer salts [Pd(dddt)2]2X (where X= AuBr2, SbF6, TeClx(x=5 or 6)) with dimerized stacks and the salt [Pd(dddt)2]Ag1.54Br3.50 containing uniform Pd(dddt)2 stacks. Plasma-edge-like dispersions are analyzed using Drude or Drude-Lorentz model. The band structure parameters are determined. The coupling of electrons with the C=C stretching vibrations of Pd(dddt)2 is discussed in terms of dimer model,
