Low temperature infrared spectra of TDAE-C60 organic ferromagnet

Thehe infrared (IR) spectra of TDAE-C60 polycrystalline samples have been studied at 4–300K temperature range. The tentative assignment of [C60]− bands and most intensive TDAE+ bands have been proposed. The substantial increase of the integral intensities of the C-N bonds stretching vibrations and a blue shift (up to 10 cm−1) of their frequencies are observed on cooling, while the intensities and frequencies of [C60]− modes remain practically unchanged. The possible mechanism of these phenomena is discussed.
