Abstract
Electrocrystallization of C60 and organic dye cations produces crystals of C60 anion radical salts stabilized by these cations. The ESR spectra of these salts showed typical broad signal which can be ascribed to C60 superimposed by small sharp signals. The conducting properties of some salts of C60 anion radicals stabilized by bulky organic dye cation, e.g., Methyl Green salts of C60 display rather stable conducting behavior even under atmosphere: semiconducting until ca. 150 K, then metallic to ca. 100 K, and finally showing a sharp transition to insulator around this temperature.
