Microscopic dynamics of C60-polymers

We present inelastic neutron and Raman scattering results of polymerized fullerides with charge transfer as A1C60, Na4C60, and different high pressure phases of pristine C60. The spectrum of interfullerene vibrations as well as particular intramolecular modes are shown to depend strongly on the symmetry and type of C-C bonds joining neighboring molecules. A detailed analysis is performed by means of model calculations.
