Abstract
Vapor deposition polymerization (VDP) is described as a new method to fabricate electron tansport layers based on poly(phenylquinoxalines) (PPQs) for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). The polycondensation reaction of tetraketone and tetraamine monomers is analytically investigated within co-evaporated layers and model systems using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), UV–VIS spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). First two-layer OLEDs with PPQs made by a VDP process are presented.
