Abstract :
Waveguiding films of the highly soluble polycarbazolyldiacetylene polyDCHD-HS were prepared by spin coating and characterized at different wavelengths: 5 dB/cm propagation losses were observed at 1321 nm. Measurements of the third order nonlinearity at 1064 nm with the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) method gave the value χ(3)=4.4×10−17+i3.5×10−18 m2/V2.
