Abstract :
An improvement in the synthesis of donor 2 that permits to have a better yield and to avoid the manipulation of H2S has been carried out. Crystals suitable for X-ray structure determination have been obtained and in the crystal structure short hydrogen bonding interactions forming pairs of chains are observed. A charge-transfer complex 2:TCNQ 4:5 has also been prepared and characterised showing high room temperature conductivity.
