Abstract :
The electrochemical oxidation of Tris(N-pyrrolyl)borane (1) in THF yielded a conducting polymer film with an electron conductivity of ca. 7×10−4 S cm−1. The coulometric measurements indicated that the three pyrrolyl units were not totally coupled during the electropolymerization reaction. From further UV–VIS and FT-IR spectroscopy data, a structure of poly(1) was then proposed.
