Abstract
Electrochemical impedance spectroscope (EIS) results show that polyaniline coatings act as anionic membranes in anticorrosion. Accordingly, polyaniline bipolar coatings, which are the anionic membranes covered by a cationic membrane, act as “electrical barriers” to inhibit anodic reaction and maintain high resistance to ionic flow, thereby, providing excellent corrosion protection.
