2D or not 2D? Experimental tests of Mott–Ioffe–Regel and other criteria for reduced dimensionality in organic superconductors

I discuss recent measurements which allow the interlayer transfer integrals of various organic superconductors to be deduced. The measurements demonstrate the inappropriateness of criteria used to denote incoherent interlayer transport.
