Abstract
Spatial pattern of charge ordering in two-dimensional compound θ-(BEDT-TTF)2RbM′(SCN)4 (M′=Zn, Co) was revealed using single crystal X-ray structural analysis below the metal–insulator transition temperature Tc of around 190 K. Molecular ionicity was evaluated by the intramolecular bond length. The ordering pattern of charge disproportion among ET molecules was stripe ordered alternating c-axis (horizontal stripe).
