Abstract :
The species niche-fitness is one of important new concepts in research on modern ecology. The article defines the concept by using crop population as its study object and mathematical abstraction as its method. A new model of niche-fitness is established by calculating the absolute difference and the closeness degree between actual resource state of a crop and optimum niche-fitness point. The results show that results obtained from the new model have wider value distribution, compared with those obtained from percentage similarity formula. Moreover, the new model has an arbitrary parameter, which is more suitable for quantitative analysis. The results of quantitative analysis are in accordance with the experiment results.
