Abstract
The paper presents a fuzzy cluster approach to solve some uncertainty problems in ecotoxicological data analysis which is not infrequently rendered difficult by limited comparability and availability of the primary data sets. The first results of a novel cluster analysis of 90 environmental chemicals are presented, using the Fuzzy Clustering System ECO-FUCS developed in the Ecosystem Research Centre of the University of Kiel.
