Transient overshoot of the electrorheological responses of conducting polymer-coated polyethylene suspensions in mineral oil

Polypyrrole (PPy) was coated on polyethylene (PE) particles to enhance the electrorheological (ER) response. PPy-coated PE particles were synthesized by varying the FeCl3·6H2O amount to control the particle polarization. However, the ER response deteriora
