Abstract :
The method of landscape-guided interpolation presented is intended to develop digital geochemical field models using both analytical data and information of thematic maps, such as landscape, soil and others. The interpolation formula includes the weight of concentration in each sampling point depending not only on the distance but also on the qualitative similarity with the point of interpolation as well. The case study of the mobile-Fe contents in southern taiga soils demonstrates the possibilities of the elaborated method. There was compiled a series of maps presenting Fe spatial patterns in topsoils for 6 years. Relative importance of Fe mobilization agents was determined by comparing their influence coefficients for the considered time period. Maps and meteorological information analysis allowed to reveal the interannual dynamics character of mobile Fe.
