Abstract :
Intermediate-range order in glasses exists in different forms in molecular glasses, pure and modified network glasses, and fast ion conducting glasses. Recent work has shown that both intermediate-range order and ionic conductivity in glasses is enhanced by increasing the free volume of the network.
