Natural gas conversion

Partial conversion of natural gas is central to the production of hydrogen and carbon monoxide and its total conversion is important in combustion processes. The former is now a relatively mature area and so although there have recently been a massive number of publications, very few provide any significant new information. Catalytic combustion continues to attract attention, and there is still the prospect that, even for large gas turbine applications, a successful process can be developed.
