Phthalocyanines

Progress in recent investigations of phthalocyanines (Pcs) and their analogues has been reviewed with emphasis on the work carried out in 1998. In particular, the synthesis and identification of low symmetrical Pc analogues or dendritic and optically active Pcs, and the characterization of Pcs by newly developed analytical and spectroscopic methods, are described.
