Abstract
Raman spectroscopy is one of the most powerful methods for characterizing catalysts and reagents, particularly under reaction conditions. Recently, a number of innovations in experimental technique and data interpretation have made Raman spectroscopy an even more powerful method. The present article reviews three areas of innovation: the avoidance of fluorescence interference, the application of chemometric methods to data interpretation, and remote sensing by Raman spectroscopy.
