Abstract :
Lattice parameter calculations and ice nucleation studies of the AgI-AgBr-CuBr system are reported in this paper. For that purpose, six samples of different molar compositions were prepared by vacuum fusion. X-ray powder diffraction of these samples revealed the formation of cubic solid solutions in this system. The highest nucleation temperature of −0.75 °C was found for the 70:15:15 mol % combination.
