Abstract :
The iron(III)-selenite with the formula given as Fe2(SeO3)3 · 6H2O was reinvestigated by means of synthesis, chemical analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder and single crystal X-ray data, and thermogravimetric analysis. Our results show that the formula Fe2(SeO3)3 · 6H2O should be Fe2(SeO3)3 · 3H2O.
